Scaling the future of education with AI

Education is facing its biggest shift in generations.
Namfus is supporting the change with software and intelligence that gives teachers time to teach and students adaptable ways to learn.
Today, we shipped a website for Namfus, just in time for the school start. 14islands created the identity and designed and developed the website, from UX and art direction to a component based build. With it, we are pioneering a new way to design and build premium experiences that scale with AI.
Paving the way
Namfus is an edtech company building a modern tool that adapts to each student and saves teachers time. It brings the whole school day into one place, one login for leaders, teachers, administrators, parents and students. Schools and municipalities across Iceland already run on it, with international markets joining soon.
All that growth needs a website that keeps up. So the website shipped as a design system with a brain. Every component carries its own rules and AI instructions, written for Claude Code. Need a new page? The Námfús team describes it, and Claude Code builds it from the same components, following the same rules. A new feature or a new language works the same way. The system guards the quality while the site grows.
We design every detail with intention, and then teach the system to protect it. That is what lets Namfus move at AI speed while the experience stays premium.
This setup works because Namfus is exactly the right partner for it. Their team is deeply technical and already builds their own product with AI at the core.
We believe this is where agency work is heading. Agencies craft the digital DNA of a company, a living system the client and agency then take further and adjust together.
We didn't want a website that would be finished at launch. 14islands gave us a design system our own team can extend with AI, so the site can move as fast as the product does.
This is the start of a longer partnership, and the site will keep improving from here. Thanks to the Namfus team for the trust.
