A User Experience / Product Designer at 14islands is a creative mind that likes to dive deep into the needs of users. You're a great fit for this job if you are passionate about the latest design trends, love both strategy and hands-on UI/UX work and have loads of empathy to share with the world. You'll collaborate with other Designers to craft beautiful interfaces that are clean, simple and improve people's lives.

• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability tests to understand user behaviors and motivations.
• Analyze data to uncover insights and help inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that bring ideas to life.
• Design intuitive and transparent experiences for AI-powered products, focusing on user trust and understanding.
• Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm solutions and refine designs.
• Present your work and articulate your ideas to the team.

• Translate complex problems into simple, elegant visual solutions based on a given art direction and brand.
• Build intuitive prototypes in Figma.
• Conceptualize and prototype micro-interactions that support and elevate the user experience.
• Define and maintain scalable design systems, components, and UI patterns.
• Ensure UI consistency across features, platforms, and breakpoints.
• Collaborate with developers to refine interactions.
• Produce polished visual assets, iconography, and motion guidelines when needed.
• Refine designs based on feedback, usability insights, and user behavior data.

We value flexibility and remote work while also enjoying in-person collaboration at our Stockholm office 1-5 times per week.
